Peach and Almond Scones

Elevate your tea time with these delightful Peach and Almond Scones! These buttery, flaky scones are infused with fresh peaches and a hint of Peach MELT flavor, making them a perfect balance of fruity sweetness and warm, nutty flavor. Topped with sliced almonds for extra crunch, they’re a delightful way to enjoy the taste of summer any time of year.

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 240 g all-purpose flour

  • 50 g sugar

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 113 g cold butter, cubed

  • 75 g chopped fresh or frozen peaches

  • 1 Peach MELT
  • 120 g heavy cream

  • 1 egg

  • 30 g sliced almonds

 

Instructions:

 

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

  3. In another bowl, whisk heavy cream, egg, and Peach MELT(see the recommended amount on the package). Add to dry ingredients and fold in peaches.

  4. Knead gently, shape into a round, and cut into wedges. Sprinkle with almonds.

  5. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm with butter or jam.

 

Serve these scones warm, ideally with a bit of butter or your favorite jam for an extra touch of indulgence. Each bite is soft, slightly crisp on the outside, and filled with juicy peach flavor and almond goodness. Perfect with a hot cup of tea or coffee, they’re a treat to enjoy and share!
